Jolly Jags 10k

13 Great Yarmouth Road Runners were attracted by the opportunity to post fast times at the Coltishall Jaguars Jolly Jags 10k, which took place on the runways of the old airbase of RAF Coltishall.

Runners were able to see much of the historic site, once home to WW2 ace Douglas Bader, including the hangers and the control towers.

First home for the club in 12 th place overall was Marc Evans in a time of 39:30. Diane Crosby was the winner of the Vet Ladies 70+ category in a time of 1:00:08. The Vet ladies team prize was also taken by the club, with the team consisting of Julie Webster (50:45), Lorrain Dawson (51:57) and Pandora Buck (57:53 – new PB).

New personal best times were also recorded by Andrew Dormer (42:34), Gary Pillar (43:19), James Chaplin-Madden (44:13) and Emma Dawson (54:34).
