Bungay 10k summer series race 2

A damp and blustery evening enticed 8 members of Great Yarmouth Road Runners (GYRR) to take part in the Bungay Black Dog Running Club's Summer 10k run.  It was the 2nd race in a series of 3.  The route was scenic, on quiet country lanes with tree-covered trails.

First home for the club, being paced by clubmate Darren Honour, was Penny Studley who won first female in 35 to 44 age category and 3rd placed female overall. Mark Stone followed in close behind.

Lorrain Dawson, Kerstin Langer and Pauline Leeves finished in close succession with Ivan lees and John Bound enjoying their runs to see all GYRR athletes finishing well under the hour.

GYRR results as follows: 35th Penny 44.22, 36th Darren 44.22, 42nd Mark 45.09, 82nd Lorrain 51.50, 83rd Kerstin 52.03, 84th Pauline 52.12, 103rd Ivan 54.49 and 109th John 56.12.
